The first thing is that it’s not easy. You’d better think twice before try to change your place in the middle of academic year. Of course it’s possible that you’d find a cheap and nice room, where you’d be treated like a fine young man or woman (I mean: not like a pest) immediately. And if you’re extremely lucky…

Ok, let’s talk reality now.

Last month, I still wasn’t annoyed enough, to start the personal war with landlords and other potential tenants. I thought: “It this really necessary? Maybe this place isn’t so bad, maybe I’m the one who gets offended too easy.”

Ahaha~, I was so young and innocent back then.

This time, in case that I get some stupid idea, I wrote a short list of reasons to change lodgings.

1.Unexpected costs. Nothing much to say. I’m not rich, sorry.
2. Pedantic rules, cause the landlord is one hell of pedant. Well, I like it when a flat is clean, but the situation is that I’m nervous when I have to go to a bathroom or do something in a kitchen. I’m afraid that I may leave a hair or a small stain somewhere and I’ll be lectured again. Thought lectures aren’t so bad yet, the worst things are calls behind your back.
3.I can take hearing my landlord’s stupid talk, why not. Maybe he simply needs that to feel better. But I’m not good with taking bad-mouthing me. Especially, when it sounds so creepy.
4.Landlord’s girlfriend doesn’t like me. Ando so do I.
5.My roommate is (censored).
6.Bad locks. You can open the door with a little help of holdfast.

I’ll write the second and last part of this post, when I’ll actually find a nice place to sleep and study. It may be tomorrow, it may be in next life…

1-st one…

Here’s the new beginning of my blog live! I don’t know which one is it already, but I hope, that this time I’ll remember to post something from time to time.

I’ve had some blogs in the past, but this is the first one I’m writing a journal in English. So please (if there’s someone who’d actually read that) bear with my poor language skills.

So… Why English? Polish should be good enough cause I don’t think that someone besides Poles will read that. But there’s a little problem with my privacy – since I started to study in a big city, I have to live with a roommate (I don’t have enough money for a single room yet; maybe someday). And writing a post takes my a lot of time, so even if my roommate isn’t interested in my journal (and she is), she’ll see it eventually, if she doesn’t stay in her bed (and she doesn’t). Our room is just unbelievably small. No private at all.

My advantage is that she can’t read in English too well. And while my English writing skills are still like a sad song about dying carrot, it still gives my some freedom – she won’t read that, yupi!

(Yes, I don’t like her, but what to do. Gotta  bear with it till December)

And now, the late introduction, something about me:

Kasiamaria is fusion of my both names –  Kasia and Maria, which make a very cute couple together. Kasia is quite common name in Poland, and it doesn’t meter where I am, there’s always another Kasia (or Kasias). So, when I only can, I’m using my both names, because that way I won’t be mistaken for another Ks.

I’m nineteen and I study biotechnology. And since my “college live” started, I’ve learnt a lot exciting and creepy things about the city, people and… roommates of courst.

Next things, next time. That’s just a beginning (or so I hope)
